The CHC50121 – Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care qualification is the latest nationally accredited qualification that provides you with the skills and knowledge required to design and implement curriculum that meets the requirements of an approved learning framework and for maintaining compliance in other areas of service operations. 

This child care course will help you foster positive and respectful interactions and behaviour in children, work in partnership with children’s families and analyse information to inform children’s learning.

  • Computer with Internet, email access, and a working web browser
  • Installed software: MS Word, Adobe Acrobat Reader
  • Personal protective equipment:
      • o disposable gloves
      • o face mask
      • o apron
      • o hair net/cap
  • Video recording equipment, e.g. smartphone or a camera with video recording capabilities
  • At least four (4) volunteers to participate in various role play activities
  • A safe and suitable environment for conducting role plays
  • Learners may also consider additional training to complement their skills in working in childcare with courses/units such as:

    • CHC62015 Advanced Diploma in Community Sector Management 

     

  • Prosper Training has a Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) process in place which is discussed in details in the RTO’s Recognition Policy and Procedure.

    Prospective students are informed of the RPL Policy and procedures prior  to enrolment in the course and through a variety of means, including pre-enrolment interview, enrolment form, student handbook, and website.
